Preparatory work before installation:

1. Before installation, please carefully check the model, installation method, specification, technical requirement (pressure bearing, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc..) of rubber check valve.

2. Check whether there are man-made damage and dirt inside the rubber duckbill valve.

3. Check the outside surface or flange, make sure it has no deformation and smooth.

Attention during installation process:

1. Installation of coupling type rubber duckbill valve: make rubber duckbill valve inner diameter correctly match with outer diameter; coupling depth should accord with requirements; pipeline surface can be coated with gel to seal; rubber gasket is needed between clip and clamp, then fastening the bolts.

2. Installation of flange type rubber duckbill valve: discharge flange dimension should be same with rubber duckbill valve’s connecting flange, sealing gaskets may be required between flange and flange; please don’t damage the edge of flange.

3. For other connection methods, you can also reference to above installation methods.

4. If nominal diameter is greater than 800mm, since rubber check valve’s weight is large, plus the great water flow impact on valves, you need to add a tie rod to better protect the rubber duckbill valve.

Other matters need attention:

1. Avoid non standard operation during the process of carry, storage and installation.

2. Prevent open fire, strictly prohibit stack up the rubber check valve.

3. Prevent hard object from puncturing the valves.

4. Prevent any extrusion on the rubber duckbill valves.
