EPDM rubber has superior performance on oxidation resistance, ozone resistance and corrosion resistance. EPDM rubber is the terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and conjugated diene.

Superheated Water Resistance

EPDM rubber own excellent overheated water resistance ability, by proper vulcanization system, its mechanical property has very tiny change after been steeped in 125℃ hot water for 15 months, volume expansion ratio only has 0.3%.

Electrical Property

EPDM rubber also has excellent electrical insulation property and corona resistance, its electrical property is better than or approach to SBR rubber.

Corrosion Resistance

Since EPDM rubber is lack of polarity and unsaturation degree, thus it has good resistance property to all kinds of polarity chemicals such as alcohol, acid, alkali, oxidizing agent, refrigerating agent, detergent, animal and vegetable oil, ketone and fat.

Low Density & High Filling Ability

EPDM rubber is low in density, thus can be filled with large amount of oil and filler to reduce cost. And EPDM rubber has high mooney point, its physical and mechanical properties won’t greatly changed.

Aging Resistance

EPDM rubber owns excellent property of resisting to aging, heat, acid, alkali, water steam, as well as color stability, electrical property, oil filling property. It can be used in 120℃ for a long time.

Vapor Resistance

EPDM rubber has excellent vapor resistance, which is much better than fluorous rubber, fluorinated silicone rubber, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber and natural rubber.
