1. The introduction about the PTFE Expansion Joint

PTFE Expansion Joints are hot formed from PTFE tube made by a tape wrapping process. The tube is processed in such

a manner that the PTFE has a low level of crystalline that confers and improved flex life. The seamless PTFE tube

has controlled radial thickness and production methods ensuring optimum hoop strength which results into anexcellent

pressure/vacuum with temperature relationship. In most cases, they can match that of PTFE lined steel pipe work and

fittings.

2. The Feature of PTFE Expansion Joint

 1)Excellent Chemical Resistance. It widely used in chemically aggresive fluids. 

 2) Reduce the Noise, making up for the contractions and expansions and misalignments in piping done in air condition,

chemical procession and heating systems, these spool-type couplings provide many benefits.

 
 3) The tough PTFE body can withstand all forms of corrosion involved, especially those from chemicals, gases, steam

and water, and the restriction bolts prevent extra extension. 

 4) Relieve System Strain due to thermal change load stress, pumping surges, wear or settling.

3.Design

1)Flanges with through holes connect the standard bellows. Sizes are identical whatever the type of drilling of the item.

2)On request, the holes can be tapped.

3)The compensators are fitted with standard flanges conforming to the type of drilling requested (PN or ANSI).

4)The flanges have PN 10, PN 16, ANSI 150 Ibs or ANSI 300 Ibs drilling and others on request.

5The maximum operating pressure of the bellows and compensators must be in accordance with the respective pressure/
